Lorenzo Bruschini Drawings

Painter and engraver Lorenzo Bruschini was born in Frascati in 1974. He attended the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris on a scholarship award before graduating from Rome’s Academy of Fine Arts.

Bruschini has been exhibiting his work regularly in Italy and abroad since 2003. His paintings are to be found in various foundations and private collections and in 2016, he was invited to hold a solo show in the prestigious museum spaces of the Scuderie Aldobrandini in Frascati outside Rome. Bruschini has also created an art school in Rome, Les Oiseaux Noirs, basing his courses on the theory that artistic creativity can be unlocked by suppressing the verbal and analytic left hemisphere of the brain in favor of the visual and perceptual right hemisphere.

Bruschini’s own highly imaginative works combine dream-like, mythical references with an elegant, minimalist palette.
