Born in Milan in 1986, Annalisa Fulvi is a graduate of Brera’s Academy of Fine Arts. In 2014, Fulvi won the 2nd edition of Milan’s Griffin Award, in the category Emerging Artists, and in 2012 was among the finalists of the prestigious Lissone Award. She has held solo shows in important public spaces including Palazzo Lombardia in Milan and Palazzo Verbania in Luino.
Fulvi’s work focuses on the urban world and its constructions. Combining a vivid sense of color with energetic, gestural brush strokes, her latest paintings verge into bold abstraction.
